✦ We require all players, characters and visitors to be 18+, due to the mature subject matter of VtM V20. This is a definitive, irrevocable rule. ✦ Politeness and good behaviour towards other players goes a long way. Follow Discord ToS, when on Discord. ✦ Keep IRL matters out of IC/OOC channels. If you must, discuss them on off-topic or privately. ✦ English is preferred. Despite the subject matter, slurs are not allowed under any shape or form. ✦ No advertising of other Discord servers unless allowed. Ask for permission to the Chronicler first. ✦ No ERP. If you must, keep it into private threads. Any scene heading that way must fade to black, or be held in a private scene.
✦ No god-modding, metagaming, power-gaming. ✦ Player agency is paramount. Willpower cannot be used during contested player vs. player rolls; consent from both parties is needed to:

✦ Character Limit: The current character limit is three, and there is a wait of two weeks per character approved; using multiple characters to gain advantages (teaching Disciplines/Blood Magic, combat advantages, learning meta-information) has to be approved by the Chronicler or a Storyteller first.

Furthermore, only one of your characters can be lower than 10th gen at CC, unless that is earned in game. The first character you make cannot be Sabbat or an antagonist; you are only allowed one Sabbat at CC, though any character can later join the Sect.

✦ Only approved materials apply during play, as do Chronicler/Storyteller rulings. ✦ Character posts, especially Tupperbox ones, are to be made in the third person. ✦ Scene etiquette: each vampire character must spend one Blood Point to start or join a scene; not doing so may incur in vitae fines, or other forms of IC punishment. The first monthly scene awards a player 15XP at the end of the month, while each following scene grants you +1 extra XP, for a monthly limit of 30XP. One may be in as many active scenes they like, provided they pay the blood to wake up: the only limit is when they travel IC, or if they are scene-locked. Botch scenes, for up to Gravity 2, can be handled by the Storyteller; those above it by the Chronicler.
✦ #charsheet-submission-area: Place the sheet in there, and ping the Chronicler, or alternatively a Storyteller or Bailiff. After a review, the sheet will be approved or you will be approached to discuss your concept further.
✦ While spending XP, especially after Character Creation and during play, do start a private thread in #charsheet-submission-area, or DM the Chronicler about the changes that the character is going to have. Failure to do so will result in your XP being refunded and the changes being revoked. ✦ Believability is key for a character, as it has to match the setting, in a broad manner: the backstory has to match the mechanical dots, though there can be some leeway; no splat/book characters can be tied to the sheet and no historical characters recreated in game without approval from the Chronicler. ✦ Siring and Banking: a character can offer XP to a new character, helping them by "siring" their character into the setting (or helping them settle in LA, siring is not a 100% requirement). If a 7th Gen character is sired (which requires Chronicler permission), a large amount of Freebies/XP has to be paid, and flaws may be levied on the character. Furthermore, if a character dies or gets into a year+ torpor, they are allowed to create a new character, and recover a % of the XP of the previous character. The current percentage is 20%, rounded up.
