Ghouls and Revenants are mortals corrupted by the cursed Blood into willing (or less willing) servants of vampires.
To some they are needless dangers to the Masquerade; to others, tools to be used and disposed; and finally, some are friends, allies and lovers that have fallen victims to the vampire’s need for help. When a mortal tastes a mouthful of vitae, they change, for better or worse: they become the immortal servants of equally cursed beings…
Revenants are the fruits of the Tzimisce desire for loyal, powerful servants. Slowly, other groups acquired the secret of how to “create” them, and now families of twice-cursed blood wander the Earth. Or at least, that’s the opinion of the ill-informed…
Each individual vampire has their own opinion on them, as do the Sects.
